Good Value

I bought this product from a local sporting goods store recently. I did extensive internet searching and found many types and the prices where all over the place. I finally decided on this unit. It had a fair price of $129.00 and was, to me, built well and sturdy. I found it easy to put together and the instructions where adequate. After several attempts to operate the inversion table I finally found "my" setting and found it easy to operate. I do however, warn some to be very careful and read the user instructions very carefully before trying it. It can, and will invert very fast and you will hang from your ankles and find it hard to get it back. Im sure every unit built has similar first time issues. A spotter can be very valuable the first couple of times. The body champ is a great tool to help you with many problems and I recommend this product to those looking at it. I like it better with the padded back instead of the "hammock" style back for comfort. Especially when raising your arms over the head for inversion control. The ankle and foot pads are secure and have enough adjustment to handle almost every person. The pivot locks are easily accessed through the protective covers for easy adjustments and the covers on the pivot points are a nice feature to keep nuts and bolts from scratching/pinching you while in use. If your on a buget this is a great unit and dont be afraid of the quality. Im over 200 lbs. It handles me easily and I use it on carpet. It has a wide base and big foot pads to stabilize this unit on many surfaces. The body champ did not slip or move when used on other floors either. Great buy and Good value!

Works Great for a Bad Back

I'm one of those people that has a Chronic Bad Back. It regularly goes out when I strain it too much. If your back has ever gone out, you know what I mean. It instantly drops you to the floor, and you cannot move.

In the past, I've tried hanging over the arm of a couch, Traction Devices that hang from the door, or just lay on my back for minutes to up to hours or even days before I can function normally again.

I bought this Gravity Inversion System (GIS) just weeks before starting a remodeling job on my house. In the past, I would only have been able to get a couple days work done before being down for days. This time, when I felt my back starting to go out, I'd use the GIS for a few minutes and I could go back to work. Also, I noticed that if I used it every day for a few minutes a day, that I could go days without ANY back pain, something I have not been able to do for MANY years! I've tried Chiropractic, Medication, Rest, etc, and none of them helped as much as this GIS does. It got me through my 2 Month remodel.

HIGHLY recommended!

PS: Be sure to SLOWLY set up and adjust the Table BEFORE jumping right on. If you don't, you will either flip over quickly and get hurt, or hang upside down and not be able to get back up easily. It's VERY sensitive to being adjusted correctly. I recommend having a second person around when you are first getting used to it. And remember, EVERY person has a different setting.
BAD design

The top of the bench hits you in the neck. If you extrend the slide bar ,your balance is thrown off. I'm 6 ft. wieght 185. But no matter what height you are your head is going to hang over the edge. Because when you adjust the slide bar to your height your head will always end up in the same bad place. It works for going completely over but not for stopping anywhere inbetween. Because your head has nothing to rest on. I finally tied 40 lbs. of weights on the top end . This makes using the table more dangerous. But with it I can move the bar down so my head hits the bench.
I can't believe the designers ever actually tried using it. Pro - It is nice looking.
Excellent Inversion Table for the Price

You are no doubt finding that there is a wide range of prices for inversion tables. No doubt that this is not the nicest inversion table on the market, but given that it is 1/2 the price or less than other models, it's a good option. We like it and use it regularly.
