I injured my back at work about two years back, and since that point, I've had to cope with back pain off and on — often extraordinarily intense, occasionally rather mild. I've found out the best kind of back trouble management is basically a combination of treatments that, when used together, have really made my back stiffness issues rather unimportant.

The very first thing that I suggest so as to cure back painis to see a consultant doctor. It may not be something as simple as a twist or strained muscle. If it is something more major, it may make it worse to take the situation into your own hands try to work thru the agony. Once the doctor announces you're in the clear, here is what I'd advise.

Get some type of non-narcotic pain killer — something that will not be addiction forming, but also something that may help alleviate agony everytime it comes. I have found that having a bottle of ibuprofen around helps me massively when my back pain starts to rear its ugly head. It's not a total solution to back trouble management, but it's a start, and could be a life saver at times.

The second component to back stiffness management is physical therapy. This, I won't stress enough. I have told everyone who will listen, and I am going to shout it from the roofs that physical treatment did more to ease my back trouble than anything else I tried. Really going to a therapist is ideal, but if that isn't a choice, look up assorted stretches and try them out to work out if they are working for you. I did a fusion of those two things in that I went to a physical consultant and then made it a point to write down the exercises she taught me so I could do them at home.

The third thing that I would recommend for back trouble management is rest. A lot of the time, people do not really wish to take it nice and easy, believing if they continue to move around their back pain will work itself out. While this could be true in some circumstances, it might also make your back far more stiff or make your pain more heightened.

As someone who can say what it is like to try to work around a back injury, I know a little about back trouble management. While my techniques may not work for everyone, they have worked for me, and I am able to go about the business of my daily existance without worry that I'm going to throw my back out or have some other major problem.
