If there is anyone who is interested in being a triage nurse, the qualifications needed are not that difficult to accomplish, however the first thing that is required is that a person be a registered nurse. Many love their profession, but like everything else; this type of job is not for everybody.  Many states do not require a specialization in training to become a triage nurse.

Whether you handle triage for a medical call center or are assigned to the emergency room, the sheer volume of patients you assist can be overwhelming. A person who has gone through the triage nursing training knows that he will be getting calls from more than one doctor or practice.

This means that you will have steady work, so with this type of training; you will surely have the tools to communicate effectively and help ones in need.
